ROMAGNA 29 is a small, privately owned and operated enterprise located in the Macedon Ranges. After many years hand making paneforte for family, friends and colleagues, it is now available for purchase. Each paneforte is generous and made by hand, at home to a treasured age old Italian family recipe, using select ingredients. No two are exactly the same. Small batches are made to order for each customer.

Nestled under carefully tied ribbon and specially selected, exquisite Florentine papers you will find paneforte, an intoxicating Italian specialty with a history stretching back to the 1200s when it was used to pay taxes to the monasteries. A triumph of aromas, taste and textures, slim slices of this rich sensation are divine with coffee, tea, liqueur, cognac, brandy, vin santo and after dinner drinks. The perfect finale to dinner, a stunning compliment to a cheese board, essential in your picnic basket, a must when glamping, a most unique gift and a gracious gesture of thanks.

Paneforte keeps beautifully wrapped in its own papers and stored in a cool, dry place. Some people even hide it!
