Vegetable seed of locally-adapted edibles from Bendigo. We like old varieties, but embrace new discoveries and actively develop new crosses, hybrid swarms, grexs and landraces. We love sharing new discoveries and great vegetable varieties that work in Central Victoria, wherever they have been developed. From time to time we grow out rare vegetable varieties to make the seed more widely available. Our criteria are diversity, resilience, ease of cultivation, chemical-free, low input, adaptability and having fun. All varieties are trialed by us in our gardens, unless specifically stated. We endeavour to provide true seed, but in our crazy gardens there is always the possibility of chance crosses. Remember, some of our seed lines are supposed to be diverse so you can select the varieties that do well for you. We don’t use any transgenic or GM material or techniques. All our seed is grown chemical-free.
