We are a small artisan biscuit maker that is committed to sourcing amazing fresh and unique ingredients directly from our farmers, mainly here in Victoria with the exception of our passionfruit that comes from Queensland and our organic lemon myrtle from Byron Bay. Our fresh raspberries and blackberries are grown in the Yarra Valley, Eric from Go Just Nuts in Mildura grows all our beautiful citrus and he has the best limes, lemons and oranges in the land. Our other farmers that we love are Green Eggs at Great Western and Mt Zero olives for their delicious extra virgin olive oil and salt. Over the years I have developed what I consider a unique and artisan biscuit, I call our La Juliet range our “signature” range as thats what most of our discerning clients love to enjoy. They are filled with Belgian couverture chocolate and all 8 varieties have different centres encased with their own unique biscuit. We’ve grown from humble beginnings at the start, baking fruit mince pies and hazelnut shortbread for our first Christmas back in 2002, to now having our Classic range, La Juliet, Savoury, Gluten Free, Christmas and Fruit & nut cream ranges and still totally hand made and hand packed by real people with enthusiasm and care. Being a lover of cheeses and charcuterie and of course a good wine came our latest creations, the olive oil cracker which is totally delicious on it’s own or complimenting your favourite cheese or dip. And on cheese, Victoria do cheese so very well, from Gippsland to Sutton Grange and now right here in Castlemaine, we’re blessed with exceptional farmers and their produce which are world class.
